Thiele’s pilot plant then produces a prototype, our applications laboratories confirm success, and finally, our operations teams employ Thiele’s modern production tools to create solutions for our customers.
This process works well due to the dedication and hard work of the Thiele team, which pursues excellence in all aspects of our business including safety, quality, efficiency, environmental stewardship, and customer satisfaction.
That tradition of excellence continues with Thiele’s acquisition of Short Mountain Silica. Short Mountain, located in Mooresburg, Tennessee, has supplied silica to a variety of industries including automotive flat glass, fiberglass, and ceramics for more than 30 years. The acquisition of the premier silica supplier supports Thiele’s strategic plan to diversify our business and provide future avenues for growth.
